Under my leadership we can:

Develop wisely and retain our rural culture, wildlife habitats and outstanding landscapes, manage our limited water resources and protect our citizens, agriculture and habitats.

Build local business infrastructures strengthening the economy and providing real opportunities for our citizens.

Encourage the development of alternative energy solutions in Elbert County.

Provide a clear, understandable, documented and public budget process.

Do a better job with the financial resources we have now.

Elbert County will be electing all three commissioners in 2008. While each candidate resides in and represents one of three districts, voters have the opportunity to cast votes for all of the candidates. The commissioners who will be seated in 2009 face tremendous challenges. The next four years will be pivotal for setting a new direction for our county’s success.

My experiences working as a citizen activist and in the community over the last several years has proven my ability to

Work across party lines toward a common goal

Create working partnerships between diverse interest groups

Maintain an energetic, pragmatic and successful focus under pressure

Build long-standing relationships with community members, business leaders and government leaders to define and achieve Elbert County’s goals

Each voter has the opportunity to choose commissioners who will make Elbert County proud.

Please take the opportunity to review this website and learn more about me, my interests, and what talents and skills I bring to Elbert County and the Board of County Commissioners.

I ask for your support, and for your vote, for a strong and vibrant Elbert County
